A teenager from Douglas has appeared in court after being accused of breaking into a friend’s house to steal his PlayStation.
Nineteen-year-old Michael Brennan, of Summerhill Grove, was allegedly seen by the homeowner in the house at around 10:15pm on 14 July last year.
He pleaded not guilty to burglary with intent to steal.
He was bailed until his next appearance, when the case will be elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, on 13 June.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 13 June committal proceedings - where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery - were completed. He will appear before that court on a date to be set.
Update: A four-day trial is due to take place before the Court of General Gaol Delivery on 27 January 2025.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 28 January a not guilty verdict was recorded against Mr Brennan.
