Gov't proposing to grow population to 100,000 by 2037
The chief minister says not trying to grow and diversify the Island's population could present 'great risks' for the future.
Alfred Cannan appeared before the Select Committee on Population Rebalancing today (6 September).
Government is proposing to grow the Isle of Man's population to 100,000 by 2037.
Mr Cannan was asked by the panel what he would say to people who may be 'contentious' about more people taking residence here:
