A number of temporary road closures are coming into force today (12 July) in preparation for The King's visit next week.
Bucks Road and Finch Road will be restricted from 1pm this afternoon until 6am on Monday, 13 July.
Douglas will then see more closures and parking suspensions between this afternoon and the evening of Tuesday, 14 July.
Closures will be in force on Douglas Promenade (Queens Promenade, Strathallan Crescent and King Edward Road), Summerhill Link Road, Bucks Road, Finch Road, Hill Street and Myrtle Street.
Meanwhile, parking will be suspended from 6pm today (12 July) until 6pm on Tuesday, 14 July on Douglas Promenade (Queens Promenade, Strathallan Crescent and King Edward Road), Summerhill Link Road, Bucks Road, Finch Road, Hill Street, Myrtle Street and Stanley Mount.
Further parking prohibitions will be in place on St George's Street, Hope Street, Summerhill, Blackberry Lane, Mount Havelock and Strathallan Road between 6am and 6pm on Tuesday, 14 July.
Outside of those, the one-way systems on Myrtle Street and Hill Street will be suspended from 1pm today (12 July) until 6am tomorrow (13 July).
