Ice causing difficult conditions on the roads

A number of vehicles have become stuck by ice along the Whitebridge Road in Onchan.
Police have closed the road as it's completely blocked, and are advising motorists to use the Groudle Road via Liverpool Arms and Lakeside Gardens.
Traffic along Groudle Road is said to be at a stand still, however.
Officers have warned that conditions on many of the Island's roads this morning are slippery.
A yellow warning for ice and wintry showers is in place until 10am this morning.
The Mountain Road, Tholt Y Will, Beinney Phott and Creg Ny Baa Back Road all stayed closed overnight.
