Alfred Cannan hopes to see more projects completed by MDC
Government made the right decision to regenerate the former nurses home site in Douglas.
That's the view of Chief Minister Alfred Cannan following the completion of work by the Manx Development Corporation to convert the building into an apartment block.
Re-named 'Thie Clag', the facility, which was officially opened by the Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer this week, will provide high quality accommodation - much of which will be occupied by key workers.
Mr Cannan hopes the MDC, which was originally set up by government as an arm's length company with the task of regenerating brownfield sites, will have future projects to follow:
