
Obesity is a growing problem in the Isle of Man, as is the increase in related illnesses, and it's putting a strain on the health service.
The views of Public Health Medicine Consultant Dr Paul Emerson, who says it's not just down to adults.
For example, around 17% of children in last year's reception classes at the Island's schools were overweight or obese.
That doesn't bode well for the future, with current research indicating 60% of men and 50% of women will be obese by 2050, if present trends continue.
