Follows request from Speaker of HoK
The occupations of people who have contracted Covid-19 on the Isle of Man have been revealed.
Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson has published the figures after requesting them from government.
As of 10am this morning (5 March) when there were 160 active cases the breakdown was as follows:
Student/School Child: 65
School Staff/Teachers/Childcare:11
Finance: 6
Office workers: 34
Healthcare/Social Care/Support Workers: 5
Animal Care: 1
Hospitality: 4
Manual/Construction/Maintenance: 8
Unknown/Unemployed/Retired: 26
As of 4pm the Isle of Man now has 163 active cases of Covid-19.
