
The manager of a charity which records the name of every police officer in Britain who’s died in the line of duty says Fiona Bone’s name will be added to the roll of honour.
The Police Roll of Honour Trust maintains the list in London, and former Manchester detective Steve Lloyd volunteered to work with it after the death of Stephen Oake in 2003.
Stephen, the son of former Manx Chief Constable Robin Oake and an officer with Special Branch, was stabbed to death during an anti-terror raid.
Mr Lloyd says there are mixed emotions each time a name has to be added to the list of the fallen:
