Reports of fires in faulty models in UK
It's important to check if your tumble dryer poses a fire risk.
That's the message from the Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading after several manufacturers issued a warning about the safety of some models.
Machines made by Hotpoint, Indesit, Creda, Swan and Proline are all affected.

There haven't been any reports of fires caused by these models on the Island, but the chairman of the OFT, Martyn Perkins MHK, says it's been an issue across:
