The Office of Fair Trading is to monitor the price of fuel in the Island.
Officials will examine the pricing structure in order to investigate why prices are higher here than in the UK.
Chairman of the OFT, Bill Henderson MHK, says he's aiming for more transparency within the local pricing structure (audio file attached):
