Scammers purporting to be from Barclays and MT
Barclaycard, and our very own telecoms incumbent, Manx Telecom; fraudsters are capitalising on both well-known brands.
The Office of Fair Trading is reporting people are being targetting by scammers purporting to be from Barclays - saying they're due PPI refunds, before being asked for their card details.
Others insist MT customer accounts have been hacked, and are offered £99 in compensation before asking for financials.
