St Marks Eve celebration
Midnight tonight (24 April) marks a traditional event in the Manx folklore calendar, where the souls of those who are to die in the coming year will leave their bodies.
It's Oie Noo Markys, or St Marks Eve - a time where it's said the border between this world and the spiritual world overlap.
Culture Vannin has produced a video to explain some elements of the tradition, which features Dr Fenella Bazin from Ballaugh Heritage Trust.
