Festival to revive Celtic and Vikings traditions
The coming of spring and the light and life it brings will be celebrated in Peel this evening.
It's part of Oie Voaldyn, a new festival which is aiming to revive spring Celtic and Viking traditions in the Isle of Man.
During the day, there will be plenty of activities and local food and music on the breakwater and beach and in the surrounding area.
Then, as the sun goes down, flames will light the way, as one of the organisers, John Shakespeare, explains:

Warmer than average May for Island
Increased DfE support 'to tackle rising costs and global pressures'
Police appeal after two motorcycles involved in collision
Childcare Credit payments to increase
Manx Care advice to those on Depo-Provera injection
