
A local charity is asking people to donate, not dump, their old sofas, wardrobes and beds to help raise funds for the Island's elderly.
Age Concern Isle of Man has launched a new second-hand furniture shop in Douglas today.
The store, at 73 Circular Road, is run by volunteers and will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays from tomorrow (April 16).
The charity's chief executive George Quayle says people have become more thrifty in recent years:
