
A Manx architectural historian says he supports the potential registration of the Victoria Road prison as a listed building.
Peter Kelly says once the new facility in Jurby is officially in use the former site will have a great deal of potential.
Home Affairs Minister Martyn Quayle has indicated discussions about listing the prison are ongoing, but its ultimate future is still unknown.
