Fatima Whitbread visits IoM to advocate for children and young people
A two-time Olympic medallist is visiting the Island to advocate for children and young people in care.
Fatima Whitbread is representing 'Fatima's UK Campaign'.
She's met with representatives from the National Sports Centre to discuss the impact access to sporting facilities can have on vulnerable children.
Fatima told Manx Radio it's what helped her keep focus during the 14-years she spent in in care:

Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
Ayre and Michael MHKs request meeting with commissioners over rates
Data breach impact rises sharply as cyber incidents affect thousands on Isle of Man
