DHSC confirms its looking to add to PCR testing
Government says it should be able to test for different variants of Covid-19 on Island by May.
The department of health and social care says variants of coronavirus dubbed a 'concern' are being kept under constant review.
Earlier this week Prime Minister Boris Johnson admitted he was 'anxious' about the Indian strain which has made its way to the United Kingdom.
Giving evidence to a Public Accounts Committee chief executive Kathryn Magson says she's hopeful additional testing will be added soon:
