Efforts to future proof workforce
Plans to introduce on-Island training opportunities for local midwives are being considered.
That's according to the Isle of Man's head of midwifery who says it's important to try and future proof the workforce.
Last week Manx Care marked International Day of the Midwife - celebrating those who help bring new life into the world.
