Industry leaders say IoM needs to put pressure on DEFRA in the UK
A call for evidence in the UK is a 'once in a generation chance' for the Island's fishing industry.
David Beard of Manx Fish Producers made the comments when discussing the future of the sector in relation to Brexit.
The Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in the UK is currently seeking evidence for government to create a national food strategy.
