Anthony Allen has sat on the board for 10 years
An Onchan commissioner's declared their intention to stand in Garff in September's General Election.
Anthony Allen has sat on the board for the past ten years and is currently its chair.
He says his priorities and focus are on several key national issues including the Mooir Vannin offshore wind farm project, the economy and health and social care.
Anthony says: "I know Garff. I have built business relationships here, walked these roads, and know the communities, the landmarks, and the local concerns.
"As current Chair of Onchan Commissioners, where some of the Garff constituency also vote in local elections, my connection to this constituency is deep and genuine."
Also standing in the constituency is Sean Bostrom.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
