Onchan commissioners have written to the Office of Fair Trading to raise their concerns over gas bills.
Last month, Manx Gas unveiled a new pricing structure that will increase standing charges while reducing the price of the fuel itself.
But at a board meeting, members expressed their worries over the move – and have now written to the organisation.
Commissioners chairman Robin Turton says there are a variety of potential problems.
