Chair Anthony Allen says local authority will continue to engage with DOI about the plans
Onchan Commissioners says it has 'mixed views' about the Department of Infrastructure's 20mph scheme.
The board met with the minister and two officers to discuss the plans for the village which includes new signs around the schools and sheltered housing.
Chair Anthony Allen questioned the cost of the project, why posts had been put up before the end of the consultation period and what the involvement from the police has been.
The commissioners confirmed that they will continue to 'engage' with the DOI and in pursuit of an outcome 'close' to what 'the public wants'.
