
Onchan's rates will rise by 9% from April 1st.
The district commissioners last night (Wednesday) announced a rise of 22 pence to take the rate to 262p in the pound.
Policy and finance committee chairman, Ellis Killey admits the rise is high but says there were full and frank discussions on the matter, and the move will allow the commissioners to look to the future:
