Onchan Commissioners defend move, encourage feedback
Onchan Commissioners say they'd like to hear the public's views on future uses for Onchan Park.
The authority has applied for planning permission, in principle, to turn the all-weather tennis courts on Belgravia Road into a car park.
It's a move which has attracted considerable criticism on social media - with some users branding it a 'bad move' and a 'detriment to health and fitness'.
However, Clerk to the Commissioners, Michael Morrison, says that the tennis courts may well be moved inside the Park instead.
Anyone with views on the future of the tennis courts, or facilities in general, is encouraged to contact the Commissioners via post, telephone or in person.
