Number of deaths from virus since start of pandemic now stands at 82
One further Covid-19 related death has been confirmed on the Isle of Man.
That's according to the latest surveillance report published by Public Health today (24 March).
It brings the total number of deaths from the virus locally, since the start of the pandemic, to 82.
At the time this week's data was compiled there were eight people in hospital with the virus.
75 per cent of those had received two doses of a vaccine and a booster, 12.5 per cent had received one jab and 12.5 per cent were unvaccinated.
The seven-day average of reported positive test results currently stands at 265.
The reproduction rate - or 'R number' - stands at 1.8 which Public Heath says shows a 'slight slowing' in the rate of increase in transmission.
