The Clerk of the TT Course is hoping conditions will improve enough for an evening qualifying session today.
Gary Thompson says roads will remain open until later as a result of the deteriorating weather conditions.
A further announcement will be made at 4pm.
If conditions improve, it's hoped Barrule Park to the Bungalow will close at 4.45, followed by the Bungalow to Creg-ny-Baa by 5pm, and the rest of the course at 5.30pm.
