Group believes it can be 'highly beneficial' for pet owners
A greyhound rescue and re-homing group on the Isle of Man says a canine first aid course is 'highly beneficial' to all those who attend.
Last year the Greyhound Aid League raised more than £4,000 through an online auction to get 100 people and their dogs trained.
The first session took place last week with the second planned for tomorrow (8 February).
Kim Kneen and Kate Divers say it's not designed to replace the vet but to act in case of emergency during the gap of an incident and getting to the vet - adding CPR has to be performed differently to different breeds:
"We think it's inhumane the way he was treated."
