New cyber inspector discusses Cyber Crime Strategy
The police's new Cyber Inspector says tackling online crime is the responsibility of the whole force - not just a specialist team.
Gavin Callow was speaking after the launch of a new Cyber Crime Strategy, which has been added to the 'Cyber Safe Online' section of the iompolice.im website.
An overview of the strategy will be presented by the Chief Constable Gary Roberts and Superintendent Jed Bibby at 'CyberIsle 2019', on 23 October.
Inspector Callow hopes all of his colleagues will be 'upskilled' to learn how to tackle online offending effectively:
