The Isle of Man Constabulary confirmed one local person died and another has been arrested following the incident at Close Drean yesterday afternoon.
An online portal has now been set up to allow those who may have information including imagery to submit it to the investigation team.
A police cordon remains in place at Close Drean, and officers are asking the public to refrain from speculating.
