Company expressed interest in launching a new IoM TV channel last week
The Communications Commission says it 'isn't fully aware' of how a UK network plans to operate its proposed Isle of Man digital television channel.
Talks have been taking place with government after That's TV announced plans to launch one here last week.
But the Commission's Director, Carmel McLaughlin, says starting a dedicated Freeview service - which That's TV already has a licence to do in England - would be the 'most difficult' model to follow from a regulatory perspective.
She says broadcasting via satellite, or moreover, online, could be more effective:
