Charity expresses shock at decision
A real bombshell.
That’s how the planned closure of the operating theatre at Ramsey Cottage Hospital has been described by an Island health charity.
Health chiefs are expected to issue a statement later on Thursday, outlining why the decision has been taken to relocate some services, including endoscopy, to Noble’s Hospital.
Chairman of the Ramsey Cottage Hospital League of Friends Leonard Singer says there’s been no discussion or consultation with staff or supporters:
