'Operational reasons' sees Manannan sailings delayed

Afternoon and evening crossings affected

The upcoming Manannan sailings between the new Liverpool Ferry Terminal and Douglas are running with delays.

The Steam Packet says it's due to 'operational reasons'.

The 3pm departure from Douglas is now expected to leave at the later time of 4pm, and it's thought the evening return will be delayed by 45 minutes; departing at 8pm.

Manannan, which only began sailing to the new Liverpool Ferry Terminal on Tuesday, was also delayed yesterday due to 'tidal conditions' at Merseyside.

It departed Liverpool almost 45 minutes later than scheduled this morning.
