The infrastructure minister says he is pleased with the progress being made by proposed new laws designed to tighten up building regulations in the Isle of Man.
But Phil Gawne admits he would have liked certain aspects of the Building Control (Amendment) Bill to have gone further.
Areas of concern include how much his department can inspect and test properties, and the enforcement of emissions controls.
