Almost a dozen Island citizens awaiting a transplant
Around 200 have taken part in a consultation on organ donation since its launch a week ago.
Feedback is being sought on proposals which would see a system of 'presumed consent' - where individuals have to 'opt-out' of having their organs and tissue donated - made into law.
Almost a dozen Island citizens are currently awaiting a transplant.
Garff MHK Martyn Perkins hopes it will increase the rate of Manx organ donors, which is below the UK.
He says the changes could take some of the pressure off families following a tragedy:
