It’s hoped more than a thousand Islanders will descend on Knockaloe this morning (Saturday).
Pilates 1020 takes place at the exact compound area where Joseph Pilates was interned during World War One.
It was at Knockaloe Moar Farm – then home to thousands of internees– that he was credited with developing much of the Pilates method.
Alison Jones from charity Knockaloe.im says this morning’s gathering at 10.30 aims to get people taking part in the exercise at the same time.
People can come down this morning to register for any remaining spaces.
