Non-urgent elective procedures paused due to increase in hospital admissions
The Island's health minister hopes the cancellation of non-urgent orthopaedic operations will be "very temporary".
From today, elective surgeries are being paused due to an increase in patient admissions at Noble's Hospital.
The move is designed to increase bed capacity, and won't affect those needing urgent or emergency procedures.
