New loco for GGR
An otter will soon be seen around a headland on the east of the Island.
But it's not one for the naturalists so much as the engineers - as it isn't brown and wet but blue and steaming.
Otter is the latest addition to the fleet at Groudle Glen Railway, joining the likes of Polar Bear and Sea Lion.
Chair of GGR, Trevor Nall, says she's been built by North Bay engineering in Darlington, and will fill an essential gap in their fleet.
It's hoped Otter will be in service in the next few weeks, but probably not in time for Easter.
