Edmund Southworth to leave role after more than a decade
The departing director of Manx National Heritage says 'putting people first' has been at the forefront of his work for the last decade.
Edmund Southworth, who took on the role in 2009, is retiring later this year after more than ten years in the post.
He's been responsible for looking after iconic landmarks such as the Laxey Wheel and Peel Castle.
Mr Southworth reflected on his time in the job with Local Democracy Reporter Chris Cave:

Residents still want to see what wind farm will look like
Construction costs on the Island 18% above UK average and comparable with Outer London
Manx residents 'will probably need to pay more' if they want universal health service
Apartment building planned for Douglas City Centre
