Minister also outlined why OAHN report benefits the Island
More than 300 houses have been built during the current government administration.
That's despite planning for over 1,300 properties being approved since 2021.
The cabinet office minister says that gap is a big reason why there needs to be more 'engagement' with the construction industry.
Last year Government released the Objective Assessment of Housing Need (OAHN) report which determined the amount of people likely to move to the Island by 2041.
It also outlined the type of houses the Island might need in the future.
