Thousands raised in hours since fundraiser launched
An online appeal for a man who died following a road traffic collision in Peel this week has raised over £5,000 in less than a day.
Twenty-one-year-old Nesta Haselden sustained fatal injuries in the collision, between a motorbike and two cars, on Douglas Road on Wednesday (7 August).
A fundraiser launched yesterday evening (8 August) is hoping to raise £5,000 to cover funeral costs and support Nesta's loved ones.
That target was surpassed this morning.
The official GoFundMe campaign can be found HERE.
Mr Haselden's family have warned well-wishers away from a separate obituary page, which they describe as a 'fake'.
