£574,733 paid out in MARS
More than half a million pounds has been paid out to staff choosing to leave the Health and Social Care Department since April 2017.
Payments under the Mutually Agreed Resignation Scheme totalled £574,733 according to figures released in response to a freedom of information request made by Manx Radio.
The Department of Health and Social Care last month confirmed that a reorganisation of managment structures at Noble's Hospital is ongoing.
MARS offers civil servants the opportunity to take a payout to leave their posts, as long as it has the agreement of their employers, and the Public Services Commission.
