The Manx public’s being encouraged to support a new initiative – and help a local charity in the process.
The Marks and Spencer and Oxfam Clothes Exchange was launched last week.
It means customers, who include items of M&S clothes in your donations to Oxfam in Castle Street in Douglas, will receive a £5 voucher as part of the deal.
It’s hoped the initiative, which will be trialled for six months, will increase the number of quality clothes donated.
The Exchange is designed to help raise funds for Oxfam’s work with people living in poverty around the world.
