Progress is being made says Reform Director
Efficiency and cost-cutting in government came under scrutiny from the Tynwald Public Accounts Committee, as they sat yesterday (Weds).
Giving evidence were Policy and Reform Minister John Shimmin, and Cabinet Office Change and Reform Director Dan Davies.
The PAC has been investigating various government initiatives intended to save money and reduce the size of Departments.
They include stricter regulations, amalgamating functions and an increased focus on digital services.
Mr. Davies says tangible progress is being made
