Fleetwood route Facebook page receives thousands of 'likes'
A man campaigning for an alternative sea route for the Isle of Man says he has tried to speak to the Steam Packet about his proposals.
But Steve England of Manx Business Reviews says the Packet has never got back to him.
He has an online petition, and a Facebook page with almost 11,000 'likes' on it, calling for the Packet, or someone else, to sail between the Isle of Man and Fleetwood in Lancashire, a route which was used in the past.
Mr England says he's disappointed by the company's response, or lack thereof:
The Steam Packet says the Fleetwood route ended for very good reasons; all of which remain valid.
