The Steam Packet Company has confirmed it is to offer TT and Manx Grand Prix marshals cut-price travel to the Isle of Man during the festivals.
This afternoon, the company announced visiting marshals will get half-price fares for tickets costing under £200.
Those spending more than £200 on travel will get £100 off.
In a statement, the company says it is keen to support the future of the races and points out last year the MGP suffered from a severe shortage of marshals.
It’s the first time visiting marshals have been given financial support for their travel costs and the scheme is backed by both the TT Marshals' Association and the Department of Tourism and Leisure.
