Shorter journeys and more on offer at NI port
The Steam Packet Company says a switch of port from Belfast to Larne could provide a boost for Manx tourism.
The ferry operator's launched a public survey, asking for views on a move from Northern Ireland's capital, 20 miles north to Larne on the Antrim coast.
A relocation would offer better passenger facilities, shops and parking - and allow Packet vessels to carry freight, coaches and motor homes, which can't be loaded at Belfast's Albert Quay.
An online survey's been commissioned by the company, to find out what the public thinks.
