The Steam Packet Company has changed the departure times for two of its sailings today (Monday).
The 8.45am Ben-my-Chree crossing to Heysham left at 7am, with passengers having to check in by 6.15am.
The return sailing at 2.15pm has been brought forward to midday, with the check-in closing at 11.15am.
The changes are due to the weather forecast which is predicting winds with gusts to severe gale force nine times this afternoon and early evening.
Disruption to service or cancellations are likely.
