Steam Packet sailings are starting to get back to normal, after a day of disruption.
The company cancelled services between Douglas and Heysham, and Douglas and Liverpool, earlier today (Monday), but the Ben-my-Chree sailed to Lancashire as scheduled this evening.
The evening fast craft service to Liverpool was also cancelled, but the latest schedule shows all Tuesday's services are expected to operate as planned.
Severe gales were blamed for the cancellations.
