Dave was checked on after concerns he'd got into difficulty around Gansey
An experienced paddleboarder who went out in challenging conditions around Gansey last week is thanking everyone who made sure he was ok.
Dave told Mannin Line a number of people called the RNLI and Coastguard because it seemed he was in trouble.
While Dave says he was fine, he appreciated the concern and the way it was dealt with by the lifeboat crew.
He says the fact three paddleboarders were rescued in Laxey at the weekend highlights the need for everyone to recognise how dangerous it can be:
