"Living within our Means"
That was the title of talk given to the Positive Action Group last night by Edgar Quine at the Market Hall in Douglas.
Mr Quine is a member of the team which has reported on the the scope and structure of government and he outlined the findings of the report and its implications.
In an address lasting some fifty minutes, he told the meeting that the committee believe that's there's considerable potential to deliver a greater range of public services through local government than is currently provided . .
